Firemen are not paid enough..
I am about 12 miles from this conflagration, and it's 108 HERE. Cannot even imagine how hot these poor guys must be. The two fires are about to merge into a "super fire", and they only have 16% contained at last report.. 1500+ have been evacuated at last report 190+ homes lost..

5. It would have to burn a WHOLE lot of houses before it got to us
We are in a valley, and should be fine.. and in a city of 160K+, so they would never let it get here ..
