The text, for those of you who don't want to venture over to GD:

I feel I have a special obligation to respond to your July 6 editorial, "Lieberman's run." I am a liberal activist. I was also Lieberman's roommate at Yale.

Lieberman is a good and decent man personally, but he has also become a cheerleader for George Bush's bloody, arrogant and disastrous war on Iraq.

As a friend, I wish for him the best. As a Democratic voter, if I lived in Connecticut, I would be voting for Ned Lamont.

2. One was ROTC and hated me for being a slob...

One I got along with pretty well.

The other two (4-room suite, one of the intial 4 moved out during the year) didn't really know me that well, and were frat-boy apathetic types who probably wouldn't bother.

3. My college roommates would be telling the world

about some of my more annoying habits. :scared: All six of us lived in a double dorm room during my college experience. I think we all parted on a friendly basis, and I would love to see them again.

The roommates I'd worry about would be the ones I had when I was still single. I can safely say there's a couple of them I don't care to see again, but I'd like to think they would not write LTTE's about me.
