10. yes indeed -- go to al-anon.
it's just not easy -- and it is a disease -- very much in the classic sense.

it's genetic and progressive.

the problem is you can't take a pill or have an operation for it.

with just about anything and not a damn thing will matter. That alcohol is one bad mutha.

9. Alcohol is radioactive. It sickens anyone in range.
The drinking is his problem. He will have to deal with it. Keep yourself and your kids intact until and unless he deals with it. Don't let his illness become yours, no matter what.

And yes, talk about it at AlAnon.
