ever have one of those weeks?

I won't go into details about our flight home on Sunday from California - planes canceled, security bag checks and other annoyances should have been a clue to the events of the rest of the week

Monday morning early (2:30am) arrived home - found cat puke on an end table and a dead mouse on the bedroom floor

Tuesday: problem with our toilet which required all new inside parts

Wednesday morning: a nesting Phoebe baby fell out of it's nest, one of the dogs grabbed it but quickly dropped it. baby bird unharmed and returned to nest. It seems ok, all of them are eating and peeping.

Thursday morning: My partner goes crazy trying to find her sunglasses. They are still missing. Possibly one of the cats decided it would be a nice toy and has knocked it under the fridge or who knows where. Sunglasses still missing

Friday evening: My partner has to slam on the brakes of her truck to avoid hitting a guy pushing a shopping cart at the grocery store. Her brakes hit the floor, fortunately she wasn't going fast and the truck stopped in time. Unfortunately it looks like a hose or some other connection to the master cylinder is busted. Called our mechanic - he can't get to the truck until Saturday morning..

Saturday morning: my partner is on her way to meet the mechanic to get her truck towed...

:eyes: gee, I can hardly wait to see what the rest of the day will bring...
