Need help identifying a song. (some words and notes)

also "Walk" "Highway"

and the main line notes are G A B C D G (hold G) then E D C D E G hold...E D C etc..

I know this ain't much to go on but ???

6. the song i was thinking of was "the way"

by fastball, which was all but unavoidable on the radio about seven or eight years ago. But the lyrics are slightly different: "They wanted the highway/they're happier there/ Chorus: Anyone can see the road that they walk on was paved with gold ..."

I don't know whether or not that's the song you're thinking of, though. (I've got the TV on, and haven't been able to translate the notes you listed into a melody in my mind :))
