If it wasn't for the heat, I'd have bought a 2LB bag of M&Ms and would
have eaten them all by now.

Weather permitting, what do you do when you're feeling sad and empty?

40. Hell yes
Especially on the internet because Mississippi has NO good stores. But they are building this mall across from my school that's gonna have alot of good stores (at least by our standards down here) like Parisians and Urban Outfitters (my love).

3. You should have bought the M&Ms.
They'd have melted into a big chocolate blob and you could roll around in the chocolate. I always feel better when I do that.

Actually, I got a key lime pie, ate a piece of that. Key lime pie is a great upper.

Rolling around alone isn't where it's at, but it's an amusing idea... :D

I might go to the grocer's tonight. Get some chocolate instant pudding. It's not 25 miles out. That can wait.

My cycle is being out of whack (at least you don't have that issue, dude), I just gave up unrefined sugar again, and my SO is out of town. Hormones are wacky with no sugar and no "you know what", so it looks like I'm craving cigarettes now (I haven't smoked reguarly in over 3 years). Actually, since it's too late to call anyone, I'm just passing time on the internets until I sleep. :(

22. My family is gone for the day, and I am feeling very much like
shit. So, I'm eating pita bread w/hummus and tomato, sprinkled with zatar. But to handle the loneliness I will clean.

My 24-yr-old friend emailed me. WTF would he want with me? I may meet him next week though. A male friend tells me that he's lovely enough to make him want to switch teams.

My life is so incredibly screwed up that I might have to resort to washing the bathroom floors. Sigh.

27. Yes you can.
My good friend and I go out every Friday. My job, as I see it, is to build his confidence. It's working. He's asking women to dance for the first time in years. He had a date last night! He had another woman at his disposal. He's a funny, intelligent guy, like you. But he's older and not overwhelmingly good looking. Confidence. That's what it takes. Believe me, if my friend can learn confidence and enjoy it's consequences, you sure as hell can. You are handsome, intelligent, creative and funny in your perennially self-deprecating way.

If this old broad can pick someone up every week, so can you. :)
Disclaimer: by "pick up" I don't mean pick up and take to bed.

29. Oh!
I have no prejudices regarding the scenario of "picking up". There is no logic to them, and the prejudices that do exist are grossly one-sided when not being a double-standard in general, biased in favor of men. Ironically, men are the sluts. They are the ones who'll do anything for anyone at anytime.

HypnoToad, do you have a pet? Having one's not the same as a mate, of course, but they do give unconditional love. (Won't work if you're allergic to animals though.) You seem as though you need some unconditional love.

they don't give love. They want food and their neck scratched and the fish only care about their food. LOL, even they get more of a life than I do.

Where the hell are humans anyway? Or is that love spurious? It's one thing to see posters and calendars from pet agencies on sob stories from people who adopt pets. More should adopt humans. As a civilization, we'd be better off.

Or if I do have any $$, I like shopping the thrift stores and garage sales.
