FOX news to discuss $4 gas!!

COming up on Faux news, they will discuss the possibility of $4 gasoline.. This ought to be interesting..

we'll be paying by the end of the day. I cannot understand paying a price for something that hasn't even been refined yet... I wanna pay what it cost for the fuel in the ground tanks at the station, not what they *think* it's going to cost...

2. If gas hits $4...

I'm wagering two things happen:

1.) We will see a massive increase in public transportation.

2.) At least one oil company goes belly-up or ceases operations (not because they're actually broke, but to divest their massive profit margin to shareholders rather than take a bottom line hit), at which point the blame will be laid by the rest of the industry at the feet of the failed oil company's investments in alternative fuel technologies. Sadly, oil companies are far too predictable.

I'm concerned though that:

3.) Our government collapses in the midst of nationwide gas riots.
