Why are women more popular flashers?

A semi-serious question. I noticed that New Wave Chick's thread has generated lots of response. I suspect that if I posted the same thing there wouldn't be as much response. Why?

Just for the record:
a) I am not a flasher.
b) I might be too busy with real life things to respond to this thread until Monday morning

Generally:
Women are attractive.
Men are funny-looking.

It's probably a good thing that women are not as hung-up on looks (as opposed to other charms) as men are or else humanity would have died out.
