If y'all wouldn't mind, I could use some crossed fingers
And a healthy dose of those good thoughts that the lounge is so famous for...

I know that it's customary at this point to explain, even briefly, what's going on but...it's complicated and I really can't get into it right now or I'm going to completely lose it.

Just...keep a good thought if you wouldn't mind.

12. Thank you, hon...
Things do have a way of working out...sometimes even the way we want them to.

Now if I could just figure out what that is...

31. Glad you like her. You can have the real cat if you want.
Minnie is a sweetie, but very high maintenance. :) Whenever she gets mad at something, she starts peeing on stuff. She's ruined three couches, a carpet, loads of just washed clothes. I've spent literally thousands that I didn't have on her, including vet bills to make sure she doesn't have bladder/urinary tract infections, and then to help her recover from her attempt to starve herself to death because she got upset about the food the vet told me to give her.

Currently, she's locked in the bathroom, because she's started peeing on the couch again--the one in the photo. Drives me crazy!! But I love her. I just lock her up at night and while I'm gone! I hate it, but I'm tired of spending money replacing stuff she's ruined.

Anyway, she is sweetie, nonetheless, and she sends you her own

32. Awwwwww...
Give her a big ol' hug from me.

I had a cat when I was about 13 who would pee on anything that wasn't put away. And if you didn't make your bed in the morning, she'd pee on the pillow.

I learned to be VERY neat.

Pickles lived to be 23.

35. Minnie's eleven
And she's used up several lives already. She should have been dead twice--three times if you count this morning when I sat on the couch... Cat pee on a naked bun is not pleasant...

She'll probably live to be fifty, just to annoy me.

36. I always used to say that Pickles was too ornery to die...
She shouldn't have lived that long, either. At least twice she tried to stay warm in the engine compartment of my dad's car, and once in his wheel well.

37. Ewww!!
Glad that turned out okay. Would not have been a good final memory.

This last fatal illness round, the vet told me there was little chance, and I had already decided to put her to sleep. Cried over it and everything. When I went in to say goodbye, I couldn't do it. So I spent about two grand on a less than fifty percent chance that she would survive. It wasn't even really about Minnie, it was more about not wanting my kids to have that as an example. Anyway, it was expensive, hard work, and also cost me the carpet in my apartment when I moved out, but she lived. Every time I want to strangle her I think "You can't, you spent two grand on that cat!"

And no, I'm not rich enough to drop two grand on a cat.

I got my page issues figured out though...worked around it without the coding. Got the slow designer tonight and that's not a good thing. That's okay though, 'cause I'm good.

And who the fuck can't think of anything better to do than run up a fuckin' mountain when it's 100 degrees?

Sheeeeeesh.

And fine. No more baseball for You, mister.
