Hey guys. As a few of you know I lost my dog Lucky this week and you were all VERY supportive in my time of grief (I love you guys!) Anyway, I promised that I would post a picture of Lucky once I got it off my camera so here it is...

She was a rescue dog. Just brought her from Oklahoma to CA recently. Met her about a year ago after a friend took her in so she wouldn't get dumped at the pound, and fell in love with her. My friend never had any intention of keeping her, and really had me in mind for being her new family. I just had to wait until the time and place was right for me to be able to take her.

Seneca has suffered some abuse and neglect from several previous owners. Now she's getting the best of everything, and seems to know it :)

18. Seneca seems to understand a lot of language

Doesn't like the word "bath", and knows so many commands, including "No barking", when I need her to be quiet outside. She cracked me up the other day when SHE decided it was time for a treat, went and opened up the pantry, and peeked around the door with a mischievous smile. It was a priceless moment.
