9. Yup, down at the beach all aft. with the kids and it didn't break 72.
then came the 10 miles back home and it was a whopping 77 at 5pm.

Wow, 101 is pretty damn hot, though.

We tend to top out in the low to mid 80's, usually. 90's occasionally.

Good to see ya, Rex! :hi:

19. Yup, pretty mild. The damn fog didn't burn off til 1pm!
TODAY woulda been the day to go, I was just downtown food shopping at Traders and it was perfect: sunny, 75, a bit breezy...the big ole fog bank is still sittin' right off the coast, but it was lovely while I was down there.

:hi:

101 Tomorrow, 97 Tuesday when I'm going to a concert. As long as it's not too humid...

Speaking of hot weather and concerts, I saw Soundgarden in an un-air conditioned armory in New York City. It was so hot and humid that dry ice and high-powered fans were trucked in. The singer cracked jokes between songs, one of which that he'd been told that OJ Simpson was being driven down an LA highway while holding a gun to his head. We all laughed, but when I got home, I turned on the TV while I prepared to take a shower--and saw OJ Simpson being driven down an LA highway while holding a gun to his head!

18. Da Nooz just said
it's 100 in Las Vegas, and 102 in Palm Springs.

That's like 15 minutes ago.

And it's supposta be hotter tomorrow.

(The Nooz also had a graphic that said, and I quote, "Murcery Rising.")
