And so ends the least productive weekend of my life. |
|
More or less. It was so damn hot, I din't want to move, so I didn't, much. Although I did go in the kiddie pool in the backyard. It DOES TOO get hot in Minnesota!

4. Good- you sound busy enough for both of us. |
|
Alot of us northern MNasotan don't have a/c, so we get pretty cranky during the albeit brief, but miserable spurts of heat! On the flipside, I'm saving a bit of money, because there's no a/c in my car either, so I've successfully avoided going to the store, for the past five days or so!

5. you need AC in Manhatten Beach? |
|
I'm surprised. No sea breezes to cool you off?
I never had AC when I lived in LA. Lots of fans, though.

7. Oh yes, we need our a/c! |
|
We've used it every year, and more and more each year too........
It did not cool off last night.....
Not enough, anyway.......
And there was damn little breeze, too......
When we went to bed at midnight, it was still 77 degrees inside the house, and no air was moving.
And the humidity was oppressive......so.............
There you have it!
My husband has a very hard time tolerating the heat.....

8. we are getting 100 degrees here today ... |
|
I am very surprised you are more humid than Maryland, but you are.
Right now we only have 44% humidity. 92 degrees though already. You folks had 71% humidity.

9. I tried to be a tourist in Toronto |
|
Canada is supposed to be COLD. It's the Great White North, after all.
Walking the streets and trying to use the mostly non-airconditioned public transportation cooked our brains for us.
Too damn hot!!!!
