Man's Car Stolen Twice In Two Days
<snip>

WARREN TOWNSHIP — The third time may not be a charm for Ryan Rozycki.

Warren Township police found Rozycki’s leased 2006 gray Honda Accord at 11:03 a.m. Saturday in the Viking Car Wash at 3601 W. Market St.

The car, which had been stolen twice since Thursday, had been pressure-washed inside in an attempt to wipe away any fingerprints, police said. Rozycki said he plans to leave the car at Emerine’s Towing until Monday at his insurance company’s request so an inspector can look at the vehicle.

‘‘I don’t know what type of internal damage there is,’’ Rozycki said. ‘‘Could it have been avoided? I’m sure it could have with the first stop they had, but things didn’t go as planned, so I’m on hold right now until Monday.’’

Rozycki’s bizarre, out-of-sync saga began about 5 a.m. Thursday when he stopped at the Speedway convenience store on East Market Street and North Road for cigarettes and a drink.

When he walked out of the store after just a few minutes, he saw someone driving down the street in his Honda Accord. He called 911 and Warren police arrived to take a report and hand him a ticket for leaving the keys in the auto while the engine was on.

Rozycki later saw his car parked in the Perkins Family Restaurant on Elm Road N.E. as he was driving to the dealership to pick up paperwork for the insurance company.

Again, he called 911 and Bazetta Police Chief Charles Sayers came out.

As the chief was keeping watch on the vehicle, he had to leave for another call, and the car was stolen for the second time.

Sayers said there are no leads on who stole the vehicle, but the person also took Rozycki’s bank card and used it for purchases at Wal-Mart, Sheetz and Home Depot. The police chief said he hopes to ‘‘track some of that information backwards and try to develop an identification.’’

1. Well, the first time it seems like Mr. Rozycki was just being stupid
Seriously, I don't care where the store is located, big town or small, or how long or short the time is going to be, leaving a car running, unlocked, with the keys in it just asking to get the car ripped off. All somebody has to do is hop in and drive. D'uh!

2. One small omitted detail:
The car was made entirely of $100 bills paper clipped together.
