3. It's a lot of fun
I went last year. About 200 runners of all ages and body types. Outfits varied from just Tevas to fully dressed. More details available upon request

4. Aren't there lots of sticker bushes there?

I mean, we don't need to know that primate females selected males so their adornment would be externally visible, do we?

Think of how impractical it is to run with the wolves while they are at a dangerous height and prone to fetch things of that shape.

This could get scary, but what the heck, stuff grows back on starfish, why not on humans?

12. It's not coincidence...
that the invention of recreational jogging took place in the same century as the athletic supporter and sports brassiere.

13. That's why the race is clothing optional
Support garments are fine for people who feel they need them

14. yeah, but who would take that option?
I understand the appeal of being nude outdoors?

But who'd want to run nude for fun?

16. You'll have to ask the 200 or so runners there
The novelty of it appealed to me, along with some of the scenery of course
