23. Hanging in. Mike got released from the surgeon so

he can drive, which is HUGH. It means I don't have to drive him to the mall so he can walk and I can actually get some work done. We go back Thursday to see if he needs additional surgery, but things could be much, much worse.

We aren't going to be able to go to my brother's wedding in NYC on Saturday, mainly because of the heat, but that's okay. We met the lovely Mrs. to be and they are delighted; we're delighted, so all is good.

Been kind of a long summer, and it's only mid-July. Mike can't get overheated, so I am dreading the A/C bill.
