Sonofabitch, I'm tried - no days off in three weeks, long days,

including five days working a conference from 6 am to 1 am each day, and then after the conference for ten days I had an awful cold and now my allergies are fucking me over, and, even though I've been kinda posting tonight on DU, I've actually been working on some stuff for tomorrow after working on other stuff all morning and then all afternoon and then having a two hour meeting tonight before coming home to work on this stuff... not to mention trying to squeeze the occasional moment in to, you know, eat, and a few hours every night to actually sleep...

ARGH!!!!!!!!

It's all wonderful, crazy, beautiful, adventurous work that I wouldn't give up for anything except maybe to be one of the leader guys on Mythbusters cuz that has to be the absolutely coolest ever job in the history of humanity, but even with a great wonderful career, a guy needs a frickin' break once in a while... sheesh.

So, now it's off to bed for a few hours, to wake up early and go through it all again, and finally finish about 9 pm or so, whenever my meeting tomorrow night finishes...

and then, pray to God, I actually a couple days off! Well, at least in the sense of maybe only working 4 or 5 hours, but at least I can then go to a frickin' movie or somethin'.

So the meeting finished, finally, about 9 pm... and now I've been working on stuff generated by that meeting that needs to be done by tomorrow morning...

and my theoretical day off is now moot, since after I write all this shit, it needs editing, and then there's the other shit that already was scheduled for tomorrow, to finally edited tomorrow night for release on Friday morning.
