I don't know why these 'rip people apart' sites are so very popular. There are alot of them.

Truthfully, most people posting are what I call 'makeover people' i.e. people (and I include myself in this) wouldn't want to be photographed for something like that unless they'd had a makeover by professionals. Also, I read a funny comment about makeovers one time, a writer said that what people are really saying when they ask for a makeover is "Oh God, I look like what I am, please make it stop." I thought that was hysterical, I must have read that ten years ago and still remember it.

All I have to say about Eva Longoria is I didn't understand why on earth she won that hot 100 thing that time. To me she's just average looking. I don't understand the appeal. I guess this picture underscores that. I don't watch desperate housewives so I don't know if it's her acting or what, but all of the 99 women behind her on that list seemed more attractive to me than her.

17. For those who are shocked by her appearance, realize how much of that

is the terrible lighting, and how much more of it is her lack of a pose. Her face is in the glare of a flash, with dim background lighting. Anyone who has ever taken a picture of themselves knows how bad it comes out in bad lighting. Glare makes anyone look bad. It washed out the natural contours of the face.

Here's a shot from the same series of pictures with better lighting, and another with her in makeup. Notice in the second one how much she is posing. That's her job, that's what really elevates her above other actresses. The difference between a Marilyn Monroe or an Eva Longoria isn't really that their features are better shaped than other women's, it's how the pose for the audience, how much personality they put into their face. THAT's the talent that sells them. It's not just looks, it's "the look" that they are paid for.

I'm not really posting this to defend her looks, it's more of a demonstration of the craft and the skill that actresses use. I think she's striking without makeup, myself, but I've never liked makeup, anyway.

A San Antonio Spurs website, since she is dating our point guard Tony Parker. So when I clicked on the pic, I thought she looked fine. It was the comments, juvenile or not that were disturbing to me and pathetic. I don't think you would hear those comments if she were black for example.

I also commend her on taking photos with no makeup on. That is great. That shows she is who she is.

on edit, Its ok to experiment and change your hair color, mix it up a bit. I'm sure once her makeup and hair are done, it looks good. I'm suspecting she colored it reddish not blonde and it washed out. Her hair is too dark to go blonde. I color my hair a dark red on occasion and it looks fantastic. But I most certainly prefer my dark brown hair.
