Has anyone ever actually seen Ishtar?
I know it's the biggest flop ever and all that, but how was it? Was it really bad, like Bob Hope/Ed Wood bad, or was it just not all that exciting, like Water World dull? I'm guessing it was just boring, since it never even achieved cult status like Ed Wood's films.

I don't even know what it's about.

"Snakes on a Plane" has me thinking of Ishtar, for some reason.

3. "Snakes" is a brilliant viral marketing job, but all signs are it will be
really bad. New Line studios has announced they won't pre-screen it, on the flimsy excuse that the fans have driven the furor over the film (yeah, right) and they should be the first to see it. Translation--we know it's bad, but if we don't let critics tell you this you will shell out more money on opening weekend.

Could be wrong. Maybe it will be good. I won't know, though, since I am too broke to see films with little appeal to me. :)

2. I saw it...over 15yrs ago
and all I remember, is this...

Beatty and the other guy, are walking down the street, and there are like 5 different factions, taling them...and there are five vehicles, all trying to tail/follow them down the street...and its oh, so obvioius that they are doing a crappy job of following them...

Thats all I remember...now, *back to the matrix*....;)

5. I saw it a while back. It is a remake/rethinking of the Hope/Crosby Road
pictures.

It is not bad, but should have been better. Needed more laughs.

The scene with the vultures had me rolling on the floor, though.
