Check this out:
I called tech support tonight because I'm not getting a couple of channels.
They told me it would cost $49 for a service call (or $29 if I sign up for a protection plan) to come troubleshoot. :grr:
Are you kidding me?
I have to pay to have them come out and look at THEIR equipment???
Does anyone know if this is standard practice for satellite TV?
When I had cable, I didn't have to pay to have them come out.
When I had something wrong with my "internets," I didn't have to pay the ISP to come out and look at my DSL modem.
Can anyone offer input/advice? :(
