1. It has actually been a good show so far
some surprising talent and some shit talent.

Dilana - what a hell of a surprise! The band loves her

Lukas - not as good as he thinks - should be very afraid of Dilana

Zayra - gonna be going home tonight methinks

3. Which one is the blond who can play the guitar?
I only saw the first night

Is Dilana the freaky one who sang the Nirvana song?

I just can't bring myself to watch the show.....

9. I posted the first night that Dilana will be the winner.
I'd normally never expect a female to win under these circumstances, but she far outrocks every guy there.

The producer for Supernova also has major hits with ballsy female artists, like Pink. So now I definitely expect her to win.

17. Yes, also Linda Perry collaborates with him as well on female artists
Pink is another one that comes to mind who had this formidable collaboration with this producer and Linda Perry (another ballsy, large voiced fabulous singer and songwriter)

She is far and away the best on the stage, and I do not think we have even seen the best of her yet either.

18. She is MESMERIZING
When I heard she was doing "Zombie," I was like... uh-oh. Love the song. Love the otherworldless of the Cranberries singing it... but damn! I couldn't take my eyes off of the girl!

Even if the boys don't want her, she needs to be signed ASAP.

2. How is Storm Large doing?
I've never enjoyed seeing her perform, but I'm curious since she's a local.

10. She was hilarious last night...
One of the judges said something like, "I liked your singing, but I just want to see more of you.... like, next time, not so much clothing" or words to that effect. She cast alluring eyes at him and said slowly and seductively, "I just have three letters for you.... Google." Everyone laughed.

A very good singer and performer, although I like Patrice and Dalina (sic) better.

15. worst is that the same crap appears to be on all 4 channels
some reality/contest crap on CBS, Fox, ABC and NBC. Nothing like having choices.

6. I really like Patrice Pike -- she has some CDs on Amazon
Dalania (sic?) is very good, too, although not my cup of tea.

I think the girls overall are better than the guys (except for that little freak with the long black hair, whom I think Tommy Lee wants to boink).

11. Where else are you going to hear "Helter Skelter" and "White Rabbit" on
prime-time, network television? At least they are digging up some great songs to do, even if the whole show is a little silly, they have a great soundtrack. I think it's a lot better than most of the stuff on TV this summer.

22. i've seen people sounding like other original rockers.
i haven't seen any of these people own the songs they sing.

were i tommy lee and crew -- i wouldn't want a copy{and a mediocre one at that} of a singer -- i would want originality.

i love it when people sing covers -- but i want to see people do covers in their very own way and voice.

23. We'll have to agree to disagree here
Because I think several of them have been standouts for (as Simon Cowell says) making the song their own.

respectful while still being an original interpretation.

29. i think covers show the real talent of a singer.
there's something to compare it to -- and -- i must add -- provided it is a song worth covering.

some songs stand up to the test of time -- most do not.
covering them doesn't rescue them.

which is not a comment on ring of fire as a song.

30. Mr blm's fav bands are Minutemen and Archers of Loaf, but Ring of Fire
is probably his alltime favorite song. I think he's hoping Calexico will put it on an album.
