2. I've been out in the heat at my jobs, and have inadequate AC at home. |
|
If it doesn't get cool at night, I don't sleep well. If it wasn't forbidden at my utilities paid place, I'd buy a window AC. They don't cost much. http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&q=heat&btnG=Google+Search&sa=N&tab=wn

3. Would they let you tack on a few bucks extra for rent? |
|
if you did get an AC. Man. I have to have air or I get nightmares for some reason in the brief periods where I actually do fall asleep.

yesterday. "What a great idea" thought I, "wonder why they only just invented 'em." I also wonder why it took so long before anyone put wheels on suitcases.
My new house doesn't have central AC, because it's hot water heat. BUt it does have an attic fan, which can be nice if it isn't too humid. And it comes with two window units. I'll survive.

I think it was 98 degrees here today - but there were wide-spread storms in Saint Louis a few hours ago. There are over 400,000 households w/out power, semi trucks turned over on the bridges leading into the city due to high winds, 3 buildings have collapsed and trees and stop lights are down. The forecasted high for tomorrow is 100+ degrees.

14. It was 95 in the shade, west of Sacramento.... |
|
and now, at 10:54 pm, it's 76, and I have the window fan drawing the outside air in. It sprinkled a little this am and was overcast much of the day, unusual for this area.
