I'm still looking for a replacement, if not new service.
Either way, it's $175 to cancel my old service (Verizon) if I choose to vamoose their service, or pay at least $175 for a new verizon-capable phone. T-Mobile is said to be excellent...

I thought it was the battery, but it wasn't. I have over 3000 minutes, so its not the time to change plans. But they sold me a very nice used one for $120 and I'm happy. No change in service till I use up these minutes.
