before, my hair went down a good bit past my shoulders... i asked the woman to cut my hair a little bit below the shoulder and she cut it WAY too short (it's longer now than it was then). luckily my hair grows fast. :shrug:

Waist length until HS, then I cut it to shoulder length. Then around 16, I chopped it off because it was easier to deal with while fencing. Never went back.

I was a sabre fencer in HS. Fencing isn't very practical, but my real martial arts skills are. I've been doing karate for 13 years. I'm a 2nd degree black belt, plus a know a bit of a few other martial arts.

   Long-stemmed dark roses have ALWAYS been a particular weakness of mine...
   But California and I do NOT get along... I can't imagine EVER actually living there again, especially with "The Governator" still being considered as the beneficiary of an exemption to the "Native Born" clause in the Constitution... (I still say Priyanka should get that... in time for, say, 2016...)
   However...
   I AM considering places to go if/when I piss off enough of the PTB to need to relocate (and there's that hoary old adage that says "If THEY aren't trying to silence you, you're not being obnoxious enough")... Canada isn't far enough away, Down Under is TOO far, the Middle East might not be safe for someone of my genetic heritage and physiognomy, and I won't seriously consider Asia... looks like someone, somewhere in Europe might be stuck with me...
   Germany IS well positioned... I have tentatively chosen Amsterdam as "European HQ of United Solidarity Alliance" -- my :blush: (*chuckle*) political organization -- but Frankfurt DOES have its attractions :) and merits serious consideration!
