Do you know someone that a lot of people admire but you know the person well enough to know they are a first class jerkoff or perhaps a very mean spirited person?
I have known a few people like this and I have found that over the years I have kept quiet about these people...out of respect and because my grandmother had always said..."if you have nothing nice to say...don't say it"....
BUT...as I get older I find that is a bad policy because these bad apples with their glossy red exteriors and their rotten cores just get worse and worse....and hurt more people.
