Do you think Fuckstick vetoed stem cell just to insult Nancy Reagan?
Edited on Thu Jul-20-06 12:12 PM by Rabrrrrrr
Knowing the hatred felt there, I wonder if part of Fuckstick's vetoing wasn't just to give a big ol' raspberry to Nancy (as well as, of course, pandering to the criminal fake-Christian religious assholes who prop up Fuckstick's administration).

I bet he felt at least a little glee knowing he was tossing an insult to Nancy; and there is, I think, a good possibility that he is willing to let people die JUST so that he could send a message to Nancy. I wouldn't put it past him - he's proven over and over and over he has no respect for life. I could see him sacrificing millions if it allowed him a little joke.

2. LOL! That could be! These assholes love privitizing everything.
Big article in my local paper today about all the roads and tollways being sold to foreign companies around the US... Chicago, Indiana toll way, New Jersey, and a bunch of others.

Sickening.

3. She endorsed him for his "re-election"
He might as well have just flown out to Los Angeles and slapped her in the face. That's pretty much what that veto was for her.

4. No, I'm sure it's all about me.
I think he perceives me as a fierce and almost unsurmountable threat so he's taken these measures to cut my life short for allegedly ethical reasons.

5. oh you know what? you're prob right

that has to be it

the theory that he's protecting big pharma is bullshit, big pharma is the one who would be delivering the products of the research and making money off the research, they're prob. more upset abt this than anyone

but, yeah, the well known snottery of nancy reagan toward the bushes -- this could be the angry little dictator's petty way of getting back at her

she has always thought herself better than the bushes -- and i guess he thinks he showed her -- by proving that she is better than he

6. IMO, he did it just to be

7. He's crazy
it's impossible to know why he does anything. He lives in his own imaginary place where it's all about him, so yes probably.

10. He did it because he's failed to placate the religious right
on any number of issues and this is one time he had the power to do something for them. One thing's for sure: he is not motivated by a genuine respect for life as some (misguided, in this case) people are.

11. I think he did it because he's stupid, he's filth, he's a hypocrite, he's
unreasonable, illogical, and did I mention STUPID???
"Pro life" my ass.
You can't be pro-war and pro-life. You can't be pro-death penalty and call yourself pro-life. You can't be 'pro-life' if you cease to give a shit about supporting that life as soon as it's born (unless it appears with you in a photo op)

Fucker.
