Oprah Winfrey's best friend Gayle King said the disparity between her and Oprah's net worth has "never been an issue" in their relationship.

The pair have taken some swanky vacations. She said that despite what people think, having a really rich friend isn't awkward as long as there's mutual respect.

Enough already with the gay rumors. King said that she and the media mogul have been pals for 30 years. Just pals.

She said if they were gay, it'd be discussed. After all, what hasn't Oprah talked about?

And although they may not be a couple, King said she and Oprah have a lot of things in common and that might lead people to conclude that they are more than just a couple of women who are very close.

King continued the public discussion about the nature of her relationship with Oprah on her appearance on “The View.”
