Have you ever had a job that required you to disrobe?
I'm not talking about removing your street clothes to don a work uniform; I'm talking about a job at which you had to strip down and stay that way. For the sake of discussion, it needn't even be a full disrobing, but it must result in less coverage than would be provided by a woman's one-piece bathing suit or wrestler's singlet. Examples might include:

Exotic dancer
Figure model
Underwear/swimsuit model
Streaker
Flasher
Pearl diver
Performance artist (specify)
Professional strip poker player
Mud/Jell-o Wrestler

or a range of others...

Do tell!

1. Yes.
I did a small amount of modeling back in college. And I had a nude on-stage role in a short-run play.

94. I was in a class where the model was 19 and stunningly perfect.

I was 30 and spent the first half hour wiping
the sweat off my hands and trying not to notice
that she was aaaaaaaaaa .......perfect.

Finally I snapped out of it and in frustration,
took some cheap charcoal sticks from my kit and
started to sculpt the drawing using the edge of
the sticks.

I ended up with a fairly nice Giacometti drawing.

Still have the drawing. Not half bad if I do say
so.

As for the model well she's 42 now and I would
probably have better luck drawing her now.

22. No but I have an interesting story
I had a roomate in college who was a stripper working her way through law school. At one club she auditioned for, she was told to wear sweats or something else shapeless.

The idea behind it was the place wanted to rate her dancing ability, not her nude form. Even though it was important, the owner said that if the girls could sustain interest with sweats on , they had the job

36. I thought everyone knew.
It's in my profile--I'm an exotic dancer/stripper. I've been less active in it since the birth of my son 2 years ago, and I'm 32; so I am in the process of toning my body in preperation for going back full time in the fall. I want to feature once I get some other things in order. My husband has been DJing in the industry for 16 years, and I am very active on the couple of online boards dedicated to the profession. It is quite facinating in a psycological sense, but in the last few years, has been innundated with young girls who have no idea what the biz is really about; having learned what they think they know from rap videos. Those of us who know how to really entertain have an uphill battle against disinterested and incompetent managers and owners and (sorry to say) idiotic young girls. I see great potential in the industry, and can see which way it is going (very coporate) and it is interesting how much this is tied to the political climate in the country. I have a full long theory about how the biz is going to shape up in the next 10 years, but it would take all day to explain.
Sometime when I have the paitence.....

45. If you ever feel like it, pm me the details.
I have friends who have danced in the past and a few who still do, though they have been making plans to get out of the field in the future.

One has been really smart w/ her money. Any extra that she has she socks away and invests for the day that, as she says, "It's time to leave." She studied fashion and theatre/costume design for a few years in college and talked about designing costumes for dancers of all types when she finally quits the business.

I'd love to hear what you think the future of the field is. I only get to see my friend every couple of years and this is something I'd love to discuss w/ her.

13 years ago that paid all my bills for a month and allowed me to buy a new outfit. I called a good night's work.

(on edit: clothes were on but only a pair of panties and a white baby doll tshirt. The panties also had to be white so you really did see pretty much everything.)

The prize was $500 at the bar and the hat passed around. Whatever was in the hat also went to the winner, which was $500 and some loose change.

I felt so rich that night. I cried and I wasn't even drunk because I knew I could pay for my textbooks for that semester and not go w/o something else.

I mean a painting would take longer, therefore increasing my odds at getting a little, ahem, attention, but if I photographer wanted to take plenty of pictures (and take a few hours doing it)...Yeah, a photographer would be great in that case. 73. Neat-o! Did you get to meet the sumo?
If I'd known you were so famous, I wouldn't have listed "pissing off Bridgit" in my personal interests!

I'll have to make a better showing of it. No more being petty irritant--I must rededicate myself to being a full-blown annoyance! ;)

on edit: And you didn't answer about the sumo, either.

67. "Long gone" meaning "destroyed"
Or "long gone" meaning "I have no idea what happened to them" since then?

Hmm...

68. Meaning "I have no idea what happened to them..."
For all I know, they're still in my bf (now husband)'s possession. He's such a freakin' slob that we'll never find them anywhere.

I made him SWEAR he would be the only one using them. :P He says he was.

74. Oh, come on!
Now you have to find out if they still exist. They're like the gun on the table in Chekhov's first act!

76. He has boxes and boxes and boxes of mixed-up crap that he refuses to
go through. Some of them date back to high school. I actually tried looking for them before (several times) and didn't find them. He's a total slob. :(

If have two or three days to spare, I'll try it again. :hi:
