We're trying to get vacation pay from the business; he appears to at least be owed that, so we'll see. Hubby's calling around to architectural firms (prior to this last job, he was a CAD administrator/IT guy) and I'm working on getting a couple versions of his resume ready. He has a lunch meeting Monday with the owners of his old business' competitor, so we're crossing our fingers MAJORLY about that. In the mean time, I'm trying to line up medical coverage at LEAST for the kids, for when our insurance runs out at the end of the month. If he doesn't find something, unemployment should kick in, but it's pretty piddly, so I'm hoping he just finds something. If he gets unemployment, we may qualify for food assistance, too. I'm still scared, of course, but we're working on everything as quickly as we can. Thank you for asking!
