1. Why were they there? A vacation, maybe?

2. They had to go to the binocular hospital
But they came back rested, relaxed, internally cleaned, and fully purged, with some brand spankin' new eye cups and a shiny new "Swarovski" plaque. 'Cause the old one fell off a few months ago. :P

7. Jealous
I have to make do with my Nikons. Binocs are very underrated when it comes to astronmy. I have a ten inch (girls, behave!) Newton reflector on a Dob mount, but it's a hassle to take it out. Binocs are always at the ready.

I can look at the moon for hours.

5. I know.... I've been so down.
I haven't even wanted to go out 'cause it's not the same.

But they came back 2 weeks early, even! O happy surprise! :bounce:

And they got fixed for free, too! :bounce:

4. Those would be the expensive one's for the bird watching.
Yes, I remember.

I recommended a lesser spare pair while waiting.

Now you can look at birds again!

6. It's true
And while I have been using the lesser pair, it's really not the same.

I love my binoculars and I am glad they are home. :D

8. I just have to wonder
Why did you lend your binoculars to Arnold?

Did you at least put charcoal around the eyepieces?
