Just got back from my mini vacation getaway. (dial up warning)

Boy was this a great idea. It was in the middle of nowhere near Galena, Illinois and we got treated like royalty. This is the most relaxed that I've been in a few years. YAY me! Just thought I'd share a few pix as I relive the last couple of days as I download from the camera.

My porch of serenity. I got up at 3am this morning to sit back on this porch and watch the trees and the monster thunderstorms.

The mile and a half trail just outside our door.
