We probably should have had this earlier in the week but here goes anyway.

Please offer any advice that you have found to beat the heat.

Two from me.

For a quick cooldown (after working outside or needed to cool down at work) run cold water over your wrists. Basically cold water on anywhere that you would put perfume works but the wrists is a pretty instant cooling sensation.

At home-throw a tshirt and maybe a hand towel in the freezer. When you come back inside (AC or no AC) use the towel to cool down a bit and then put on the cold tshirt. The shirt doesn't last long so you could try rotating a few into the freezer if no one else minds.
