I'm feeling ritzy tonight

Why don't we all post in one sentence why we think DU is a better place the Free Republic. I've been reading their shit lately, and to be quite honest, I'm feeling like a we're all a whoooole lot better.

So, I'll start:

In DU, we are much nicer to each other than at FR.

17. It's easy to get a crush on some people online...

Been there, done that... I've actually met a couple women thru online conversation, back in the mid-90's, and it's usually a buzz-kill. Kinda like meeting your heroes and then realizing they're assholes just like everyone else. Happened to me with Harlan Ellison.

But the crushes here at DU are fun... We're a happy family (ala The Ramones)!!!
