Does your cat like to watch?
Edited on Sat Jul-22-06 09:04 AM by progmom
...TV?

We've been watching March of the Penguins this morning, and Rufus Harley The Very Patient Cat has been completely obsessed with it. He's been sitting there, on high alert, watching it all morning.

Does your cat do the same thing?

28. Awww...Thanks!
I was coaching amateur musicians last week in a chamber music workshop; and the day I got back, we had a brown-out that screwed up the settings on the computer. After spending 3 days getting things back to normal, I was called to sub for a concert series at the last minute. Usually summer is the slowest time of year! :toast:

Purring nuzzling. It's a bit disturbing.

A tetanus shot? I hope it was worth it :)

17. I find it creepy that the cat takes such an interest.
So I either shut the door tight to begin with or, should he somehow get in, on the bed, and under the sheets, I boot him out fast.

12. One of my cats loves to watch me?
He jumps up on the desk and just stares at me with his head cocked to the side. He'll just sit there and stare. It made me uncomfortable until I got used to it.

has three cats that love to sit in front of his aquariums to watch the fish. Tuffy, Gizmo, and Boots will spend hours in front of the fish tank and occasionally bat their paws against the glass. They love it!

15. My Dog Responds To The Sound Of A Dog Barking On TV...
... she'll also bark AT the TV if she sees any animal that looks like another dog. (She must assume that the TV is some sort of window to the side yard and any dog on the screen is in HER yard... WOOF WOOF WOOF! "Get out of my yard!")

he'd watch it forever, he was a big fan of fred couples, the ones we have now will watch every now and then. I was watching a cat show one night, when they started telling about some new born kittens, my momma cat heard the kittens mewling, jumped up and ran to the closet where her last litter had been to see if they were okay, she was between litters then.

27. I read somewhere that most cats can't see TV...
...because their brains process visual information too quickly to be fooled by the constantly updating lines that us stupid humans percieve as moving pictures.

I tried to look up the article I read, but I couldn't find it. Interestingly, I found a few articles about cats loving HDTV (especially nature shows, of course). Maybe cats can see HDTV? That'd be pretty cool.
