1. Pretty much they all make great beer
Apart from the mass-produced shit that almost all countries make, they all have smaller breweries that make amazing beers. I've been disappointed by individual beers (I still don't understand the popularity of Bass Ale), but never by a country itself.

2. Ireland, of course. I love Guiness Stout.
In fact, I traveled to Dublin just so that I could sit in an Irish pub and drink Guiness on tap.

...than any other country, particularly pilseners.

"The Germans make the finest beers in the world. And they learned everything about it from the Czechs." :toast:

10. I agree wholeheartedly,
particularly because my favorite type of German beer originated in Pilsen, Czechoslovakia.

17. BAL family has just yesterday returned from a tour of Berlin, Dresden, and
Prague--and I will absolutely agree 100% with the above statement.

The beer--and the food--in Berlin, Dresden, and Glashuitte it were excellent.

The beer and food in Prague was SUPERB and then some.
