PAULS VALLEY, Okla. -- A Sept. 25 trial is set for a Maysville woman accused in the beating death of her mother-in-law.

Nancy Gilstrap is charged with first-degree murder in Garvin County District Court in the death of Rosemary Avila.

Avila's body was found in the bedroom of the women's home after Gilstrap called police and allegedly said she had killed the woman.

Prosecutors said Avila was hit 19 times in the head with a hammer.
