We have not driven our car in two weeks. A Carolina wren built her nest in the spare tire. One egg has hatched. We have to drive the car Monday.
Is it possible to move the nest to a small tree or bush? Does anyone know?

1. If you do you must be super careful that the mother and father |

birds cannot smell you. So please don't touch the nest with your hands and if you use any kind of tool make sure it doesn't smell human, also. I'm not a bird specialist, though and don't know if it will work even then. But sincethere is a baby bird already I hope they'd go on with their work even if the nest has moved.
But I think it's great that this poses a problem for you! Others might have just taken the nest out and the hell with the birdies.
