Today in La Mesa CA, where I live, projected Hi temp is 101.

With no AC, or money to sit in an air conditioned bar/club, I must sit and swelter.
Maybe I'll go to the beach after 6:00 PM to cool off.
Any other SoCal DUers hating this heat?

1. It's easily over 100 here (Kensington) and the only hope is to sit in a
bathtub full of cold water and live in between 2 fans. I am completely tired of this heat and humidity - nonstop for the past 5 weeks.

11. thanks, you do the same!
fortunately, i upgraded my AC system a couple of years ago, so it's a nice and cool 77 inside. i am praying that there will be no power outages. we had one last week and the power was out for about 3 hours - long enough to heat everything back up again.

enjoy your trip~!

I have never felt this kind of heat here in the five years we have lived here. No A/C either. Just jumping in and out of the pool to stay cool.

19. I'm going to OB with a cooler/six pack in a couple hours.
Its probably 15 degrees cooler at the beach than it is in east county. Plus its drum circle night at the pier. I'm outta here soon!
