14. It gets cold here, it just rains like a mofo all winter.

We get snow that melts as soon as it hits the ground maybe once every ten years and people still talk about the last hard freeze we had, which was back in 1989.

16. Haha...today was I was talking to my friend in South Carolina and...

somehow it turned to talking about winter. I made a comment that none of them knew how to drive in the snow and her response was, "Yes, we do. We have snow chains for when it snows." As if snow chains are needed in SC. I don't even have them in NJ and I get around just fine in the much larger quantity of snow that we get.

And snow happens every winter here (MD). I come from New England so I know how to handle snow, but many of these people act like they've never seen it each winter. :crazy:
