What's your favourite weekend breakfast?
I don't have it very often, but I love waffles or French Toast with some poached eggs and bacon.

8. Same here but scrambled eggs instead of poached. Love french toast
or pancakes with eggs and either sausage or bacon, yum.

Otherwise, I really like occasionally picking up a coffee cake or rolls, but don't do it too often.

11. I love to go out for breakfast..
My husband doesn't :(

But I truly enjoy breakfast/brunch buffets. There are a couple that we go to in Ontario when we visit. Absofreakinglutely exceptional food, nothing at all like an Old Country Buffet.

I love french toast, bacon, eggs benedict, home fries, croissant, cheeses ... oh man I could go on forever. I feel a road trip comin' on.

Eaten in bed while reading the paper that he brought to me. Then he does the dishes without my asking. And he takes the dog out to pee. And the baby sleeps late the entire time. Ahh, heaven.

33. I have several favorites....
Greek omelette (with spinach and feta cheese), with an english muffin.

Two eggs over easy, with hash browns and corned beef hash.

Waffles, or pancakes, with grilled breakfast sausage, and REAL Vermont maple syrup.

Western omelette, with cheese, and an english muffin.

Eggs Benedict.

Crepes, stuffed with scrambled eggs and mushrooms.

All must be served with a class of fresh Florida orange juice and a large carafe of strong, black coffee made with premium coffee. Butter and guava jelly are good too.

All of these options taste SO much better if served in the cockpit of my sailboat, in some quiet anchorage in the Caribbean, with a lady friend, after a morning swim together (sans clothing of course).

Sometimes, Bloody Mary's are a good accompaniment, as well.:hangover:

36. We need to meet for Brekkie!
I too love eggs with Corned beef hash (something I think I eat every three or four years) and I also love spinach and feta omelettes- though I go for rye toast. I make homemade cornmeal waffles with fresh berries and warm real maple syrup and I sometimes bake Challah and make french toast with that.
One of the great mysteries of life is how I manage to stay around 120 pounds. (I am not very tall, though). By rights I should weigh about 250!

Maybe one day I'll make it in to Manhattan on the morning ( I work full time for the County Legislature (for a Dem, of course) and rarely get in in the am, though I have family in Bklyn and hope to move back into the city when the kids are settled.
