Wow, If you make a post as a joke, you get it kicked to the front page list.

I post what I think people might be interested in, or give my opinion on something, and my posts will kill an original popular board. My posts always kill anymore posters in a heartbeat.

Even if I post using my own subject line of something I feel everyone might be interested in, either latest breaking news or my opinion on someone's previous post, I usually get one, maybe two if that much, or per my norm, nobody will even post a response. I thought I was a fairly intelligent Democrat but compared to some of you on this board, I don't know anything. As a matter of fact, a lot of you have taught me some things, and I want to thank you.

I know from time-to-time someone will post something off the wall to break the tension we all feel at times with our idiocy of a government and everything else we try to deal with. But this one seemed to really get to me.

This has taught me a very valuable lesson. Save my monthly donation, move on, and support another Dem Board, or just keep up a blog of my own. l.:nopity: Yeah, I'm whining right now (sorry gotta vent every now and again).

I joined this board since it started when I saw www.democraticunderground.come sign during shrubs coronation in January 2001. The IT's, or whoever controls the information boards, have me as a member starting the year I started giving my monthly donation (which is wrong, I've asked them to change, but to no avail, plus what's the point anyway.

There are a lot of nice, intelligent, well-read people here. Unfortunately, I'm a square peg trying to fit into a circle.

Then again, I may continue to try to fit. Who knows?:crazy: I sure don't

that has fallen off the board faster than a turd down the toilet, I'd be almost rich.

Some I thought was important got one or two responses. A few I kicked back up, but only to see them plunge into the abyss.

Once in a while I'll post a short opinion and it'll get a ton of responses much to my surprise.
