Good Monday Morning, Crew!

Hi there! I have to start todays thread early, so if the Mr Clint makes an appearance at his normal time, my apologies! :bounce: Though I am sure no-one will mind 2 threads on the one day.... at least I hope no-one will!

It's the first day of the week! I started class again today, and I am hyped! :bounce:

How about you? How does this morning find you, crew?

Let's start the day well! The song of the day is "So long, Marianne" By Leonard Cohen.
:)

31. there are several reasons why I chose that name
there are several songs about wildhorses and I like those songs.

Yes, I used to ride and help breed with my exhusband who is a horse trainer.

But, he could never "break" me so to speak and so the name fits me that way.

wildhorses is somewhat political in that Bush fancies himself a cowboy but, democrats are the wildhorses that he will never tame.

I love all the ways I can maneuver around here in the guise of wildhorses. wildhorses can say things as a horse that I could NEVER say as a mere human.

so in the end, the name just seems to suit me....doncha think?

34. It does. Talking by keyboards gives us certain freedoms, which are
lovely, IMO.

Sorry to hear about the ex.

And as for the political thing; I certainly hope that cowboy Bush gets thrown out of office. That would be lovely.

8. Good morning R_A
I just woke up again. I took the day off today. Didn't sleep good last night and didn't get out of the bed really this morning.

Was invited to a BBQ yesterday evening at neweuropes place. Around midnight I looked at the watch the first time it was so nice there.

Are you hype because you can learn again or because you saw certain people again

Both, but unfortunately 'certain people' doesn't include certain person. :(
Pity, now there is only a small chance that I will ever see her again, but I do no give up hope so easy. But my other friends, yes, sure, it was nice to see them.

And learning again is good but not yet done today. Soon.

So you took the day off? Good for you, and glad that you had a chance to sleep in, that's such a good feeling.

I still wasn't feeling my perky self over the weekend, so I took it kinda easy. Went to a movie last night though "Water", http://water.mahiram.com/ Takes place in India in the 1930s. Another one of those though provoking films, which I like.

Hmmmm . . . don't really know about that, but this film was good.

I know exactly what you mean about needing rest. I think sometimes I work so hard, and play so hard, that one day my body just says "enough", and shuts down until I give it proper rest.

Gotta head out for work now. You snuggle in with a good book, and take it easy the rest of the day.

She's still here, though I didn't hear a peep about Gawd out of her last week. That's because she had to take a client (I'll call her Jane) to the lab. I showered/dressed/groomed all four clients, gave three of them their daily meds, gave Jane her sedative and clipped her nails, carried Jane to the van to go to the lab and back into the house when she returned. Holy Roller couldn't thank me enough.

Ow! Another car crash? That is pretty lucky, but it is good that you report no injuries (which I assume means no injuries)

Leonard Cohen was an interesting figure, from the calm and quiet songs to the spectacular time he blew his top about abortion (at least I think that is what it is about) in the recording of 'Diamonds in the mine' on the album 'So Long Marianne' - (all the same words but yelling plenty with strange tone)

49. Thanks for the lovely pic
It's like the "breathing space" in O Magazine. hahahaha

I am doing well, except very tired, because I cannot for the life of me make myself go to bed early, and I am facing a mountain of debt, and I don't know if I can meet all my obligations this month, even if I don't eat. I'm going to have to drop out of my degree because the recently-deregulated tuition has doubled and I can't afford it. :/

Other than that, though, I am grrrrrrrreat. Not being sarcastic. I played tennis twice this weekend, got a little rest, stayed in BOTH nights in an attempt to be responsible, and wrote a paper. Today I'm working, and will likely be on the phone with a health insurance company my entire lunch break. Then I have to write another paper tonight. Then I have to look for another (3rd) job.
