World Record Motorcycle Jump Fails (Rider Hospitalized) - VIDEO
<snip>

MIAMI, Ok -- A motorcycle rider needed an ambulance when his attempt at a world record jump failed.

Trigger Gumm came up just a few feet short as thousands of spectators had gathered in Miami, Oklahoma, Sunday, to watch the attempt.

Doctors rushed to make sure the daredevil was okay.

He even waved to the crowd as he was being taken to the hospital. Gumm suffered from a concussion.

2. Wow and Trigger had to go all the way to Miami Oklahoma to find
a dirt hill that big. What a shame.

3. What are the helmet laws in Oklahoma?
If he had opted to ride without, which might have been his gosh-darned God given right, he might've made it. The added weight of the helmet, the corrupted visibility and lack of comfort likely aided to the failure. Besides the human head is MUCH more aerodynamic than a helmet, anyday.
