A good DVD burn program? Please? |
|
I have an HP media center desktop with a dvd burner. The Sonic Record Now program I have requires an expensive update if I want to record a torrent file I have to dvd. Can anyone help? I did look in the Computer group; but no luck. Thanks in advance.......

5. Do you want to burn it so that you can watch it on a dvd player? |

If so, first you'd have to convert it to MPEG-2 and then author it before you can burn it. Can be a pain in the ass. (At least, hat's how it used to be done, not sure if there are any new fancy technological advancements in that field or anything.)
But I agree about Nero for actually burning anything.

6. Nero has software that can do that automatically |
|
Nerovision Express I think it is. Ive done it several times although it takes 12 hours on my crappy AMD 700 system.

I never bother burning them to dvd because my tv is hooked up directly to my video card.

I just downloaded Total Video Converter; so I think it will do that. NOt that I want to have to do all that complicated crap; but believe me--the movie's worth it!! Guess I'm off to find Nero.Is that a freeware; or do I have to pay?

9. Well it's not freeware... |
|
But you don't necessarily have to pay, either, haha (not that I would encourage such things).
Which movie is it?

You? Encourage such things? I have no IDEA what you are talking about! (says the wife of the dj). ANYway; it's an "inspirational change your life" kinda (no groaning, now; I promise it's not a cult!) movie that we've been discussing over in the Astrology, Spirituality & Alternative Healing Group. It's called "The Secret". I got it dl'd last night; wanted to share with 1 or 2 friends who are college-broke atm.

12. Wonder why it didn't come with this one? |
|
Huh. Well; there's a trial version; I may try that to make one copy and see if I can just copy THAT copy until I can afford to buy the software.
