It's 80 degrees here now in Upstate New York
We're about 20 miles north of Syracuse. The weather is balmy and bright with low humidity and a gentle breeze. It'll drop to 65 degrees overnight with predicted highs for the week between 85 and 75. Since I usually am asked how I can stand to live in a place with so much snow, I thought it'd be a good day to answer.

By the way, most years the snow runs from late December to early March, and we have snow plows that look like something out of a movie on the Sci-Fi network. I used to drive to work in a Chevette, and in six years missed one day due to snowfall!

3. Perfect!
I lived for many years in your neck of the woods. The southern end (Seneca/Tompkins Counties). The winters could be annoying but I just loved the summers.

SO STOP RUBBING IT IN!!!! :silly:

Here in the Savannah area, the winters are more moderate, but the summers are monotonous:

"Partly sunny, hot and humid today, high 90-100, chance of afternoon or evening thunderstorms. Tonight, warm and muggy, low 75-80, chance of more thunderstorms. Tomorrow, and the day after that, and the day after that, more of the same...."

I can't wait to see what global warming does to things... aside from putting folks here along the coast underwater that is....

Hey, I MISS those Sci-Fi channel snowplows!!

4. I figure it's only fair to praise our summer weather.

After all, we New Yorkers have to put up with people bragging all winter about how warm their weather is. Of course, i think those same people have been flabbergasted the last few weeks at how warm their weather is!

By the way, the lawn is beautiful and the garden looks great! I haven't watered once this year! Right now the entire house is perfectly comfortable with one box fan running at low speed!(Now that's rubbing it in!)
