"Between the Lions" - The creators HAVE to be on our side!
OK....so Tavernertoddler has been getting into this show big time. It's a great show, with a quirky sense of humor, and kind of rings back to "Electric Company" and "Sesame Street" before they went downhill with that POS Elmo...

Anyway, I'm pretty convinced the show is run by fellow leftys - here's why:

- Lionel, the son, wears a Mao-style hat with a nice red star on it
- They did some promos a while back for reading with Sen. Barbara Boxer and Hon. George Miller. The promo takes a jab at the backstabbing on the hill.
- The books they read promote diversity and lefty values
- Critical thinking is also a big part of the show (even the title)
- As far as guests, they've had Al Franken, Barbara Boxer, Dr. Ruth and a few others I can't remember

OK...and this is the kicker

- One of the people they had walking around the show was wearing a Mike Malloy shirt

6. LOL! I totally forgot about this show! Thanks for the reminder!
We tried watching it when he was 4 and he liked the show but lost interest after a while. Now that he's 6 and reading everything in sight, I bet he'll really be into it now. DVR, here I come!

Ahhh, "Electric Company"...what memories!
