Dude...just let him die....(Polly Klaas' killer)
Look I am 100% against the DP, but I support suicide. ESPECIALLY in his case. He did horrible things. He ruined the lives of the Klaas family, he killed a child and he rubbed salt in the wounds of her father. This is all coming home to roost - which is a good thing.

So, let him die! Let him off himself!

2. I agree.
But having him live in fear for his life is good too.

6. i'm surprised he is still alive
12 years living on death row shows you how flawed our capital punishment system is.

I disagree with the article here: "Davis' crime and his role in the creation of the strict sentencing law made him a target for other inmates"

I highly doubt the sentencing law he inspired had any impact on the "career inmates" He's a pedophile child murderer which is a taboo crime even to the most hardened criminal. Jeffrey Dahmer met his fate in prison for that reason too.

7. I dunno. Making him do the opposite of what he wants has merit.
Not a person I have any sympathy for. I had just a touch of an inkling that maybe he was too mentally disturbed to deserve my true hatred, until he did what he did in court to her father. Removed any non-hateful inklings I had left.

I'm opposed to the DP, too. But not on a case by case basis. I would gladly protest to end the DP, but never to spare this man specifically. As a guard, I'd have a lot of trouble calling for medical help for him until rigormortis had fully set in. It might be more cruel to let him live, but que sera sera. Better to be done.
