I need some advice on buying a chair
A desk chair, to be precise. Something I can sit in at my desk for hours at a time that gives me decent back support while I'm writing.

I've had problems with cheapo, Chinese and Malaysian-made chairs in the past couple of years (legs becoming unglued to the seat, back supporter falling off a computer chair), so my hope is to find a good American-made desk chair that doesn't cost more than $100.

1. Dream on
American made?
Not more than $100?

Sorry not to make fun of you, but to get a decent chair you will need to spend at least $300-$400, and then it won't be made in America.

Great prices, all starting at $0.99.

You could email and ask about them being Made in USA.

3. Thanks for the link
Hopefully, they really ARE Made in USA, and not "Made in Saipan (but legally allowed to say 'in USA')"

4. You could also
try your used office furniture store. If they don't have anything in their inventory now, you can ask to be put on a list. Just a thought.

5. Try IKEA
I got my desk chair there five years ago for about $150 CDN. Very comfortable and durable too.
