$799 for a Nikon D200? Is this for real?

1. DON'T DO IT!

I learned the hard way about camera shops. ... especially ones in NY. HUGE scams going on in the camera world - I don't understand why no action has been taken against these scam artists. Many are fronts to collect credit card numbers.

3. There are reputable dealers in NYC

such as B&H and Adorama, but the scam artists, bait-and-switchers, and other crooks are out there in force. I'll bet that $799 price requires the purchase of plenty of overpriced accessories that would drive the final selling price well over list.

And saved a couple hundred dollars a few years back. Totally reputable dealer. I think they were in NJ.

I suspected some kind of scam. And I specirically looked for a US warranty, battery, cords, etc. None included. So why is it listed on CNET.com?
