* Arachibutyrophobia- Fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of the mouth.
* Caligynephobia- Fear of beautiful women.
* Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia- Fear of long words. :rofl:
* Nephophobia- Fear of clouds.
* Pteronophobia- Fear of being tickled by feathers.

6. I know a man who actually has a horror of baby chickens

tiny fluffy yellow baby chickens scare him to death...much the way I react to poisonous snakes. I guess a phobia, by definition, is unreasonable, but this one seems to me to be more unreasonable than most.

Does that encompass xylophobia, fear of wooden objects (I'm assuming that would include shoes), and anthrophobia or anthophobia, fear of flowers, or is it something entirely different?

I like this "very specific" dysfunction: polyphobia, fear of many things. "Ah, screw it--you're a mess--let's call it polyphobia." :rofl:
