My computer is ruined, ask me anything!
Well let's see.. the computer I have had for less than a year that was working great is pretty much a pile of junk now.

I had kept it free of spyware and program conflicts....

but while I was at work the kids installed Mozilla Firefox and Google Earth, which have created awesome conflicts causing the computer to crash every few minutes. In addition to god knows what spyware they have installed.

Also at some point on another day I was at work, our parrot was allowed to rip apart the keyboard, so the space bar doesn't work, nor do the alt or ctrl buttons.

/rant off

Just venting. But dammit that pisses me off.

1. Just sounds like you need a new keyboard and reinstalled OS.
Thats not ruined! 'Tis easy to fix!

But here's the question: Did the parrot eat any of the keys?

2. Not eaten...
just ripped off. I am not sure what he did to the right alt and right ctrl, but they no longer work at all.

And yeah I can just reinstall the OS, it is just a pain in the ass that I really don't want to do.

4. Odd
Installing Google Earth trashed my mother's PC too not so long ago, completely corrupted her Windows profile.

If you have more than 1 profile that you can log into your PC with, try a different one & see if you can recover that way.
